With the development of science and technology, societies' understanding of education is changing, making the transformation of education systems inevitable. The primary aim of education is to cultivate individuals who are aware of knowledge, know how to access it, learn by making sense of the information they reach, can produce new knowledge with what they have learned, and use what they produce to solve problems. In learning-teaching processes, the processes where students are at the center of the lesson and actively participate in the lesson are student-centered processes. In general, the student-centered education approach advocates that the student should be at the center of learning, be provided with the opportunity to discover knowledge and their own abilities, and that the instructor should support the student in this regard as an educational leader and guide.
Gölhisar Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulu adopts an education-teaching approach that focuses not on the transfer of knowledge but on meaningful learning, critical thinking, and the use of knowledge/skills, where the learner (student) and the learning process are at the center rather than the teaching process, based on student-centered, active learning, and foreseeing lifelong learning. With this adopted student-centered education approach, it is aimed that students' interests, skills, and abilities are revealed at the highest level through activities conducted inside and outside the classroom, and the cooperation between students and instructors is further strengthened. Accordingly, Gölhisar Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulu;
- Conducts lessons with active, interactive methods,
- Emphasizes the relationship between taught concepts, prioritizing inquiry and discovery,
- Approaches learners as individuals and considers their learning styles, experiences, background characteristics, and preferences,

- Diversify methods based on process and product by using complementary measurement and evaluation methods (concept maps, performance evaluation scales, surveys, presentations, fieldwork, peer evaluation, personal development files, etc.) rather than just result-oriented evaluations through written and oral exams,
- Design measurement and evaluation methods to measure whether the targeted course learning outcomes/achievements have been reached,
